Agent Apps, so far

Built in the open.

Version 1.0.0 shipped on 28 July 2026, with all eight packages published together on npm. Everything is MIT licensed: the protocol is a spec, not a product, so anyone can implement a host, a station or an app against it.

Software architecture

Designing systems whose boundaries hold up: typed contracts, clear planes of control, and the freedom to swap a transport without touching the app.

Cybersecurity

Granular grants the user approves rather than the app assumes, secrets split into system and user scopes, and tool hints like destructiveHint declared by the author instead of guessed from a name.

Scaling systems

From one shared instance to N replicas to one process per user, spawned by traffic and idled when nobody is looking, across four runtime adapters with crash detection and graceful shutdown.

Project leadership

Turning a protocol into something a team can build against: docs, test harnesses, scaffolding, and releases that ship every week.
